I posted this to Basil as part of a personal welcome:
"The website is fairly new and does not boast 30,000 members - but that is mainly because it does not cater for shallow chats and the bickering over nonsensical issues that are common with so many USA gun forums. It is dedicated to facts of experience over 55 years of hunting big game in Africa, and of course it is a soft marketing tool for myself and other outfitters I associate with."
Maybe you would care to do us a short introduction, Basil - including what you shoot and hunt and where.
