4 Trophies, 3 with RW horns: Cape Buffalo, Sable & Golden Wildebeest
Updated: Feb 10, 2020
These are plains buffalo (in fact the Cape buffalo really is a plains and open savannah animal).

The landowner flew his drone to locate the lone Cape buffalo bulls (called "daggha boys" or mud boys) on his extensive propery. This one was seen in a swampy, high grass area. It is has 43" horns and is very wide at the shoulders (in fact the widest I have seen), needing a solid 300 gr flat nose bullet from a .375 H&H or similar 400 gr from a .416, or 480-500 gr from a .458 Lott.
